There seem to be numerous online complaints that those who have donated have (unwittingly) signed up for auto-debit donations that are very difficult to stop.
Just be careful if you donate for entries or be prepared to close bank account/cancel credit card.

I have not been able to get entries on One Country yesterday or today. I have tried a different browser and incognito mode. Other Viral sweep contests work.

I noticed yesterday that I had no entries since the 27th, so I sent them an email. I sent them another email when all those entries were wiped out today.

They wiped out all of my entries too on many contests on here. I have never seen them do that before affecting so many different sweeps. Kind of makes you lose faith in them being honest/fair at all. I mean, has anyone won any of these ever?

ccarey1980, I can't answer whether anyone has one a One Country promotion. I suspect that they publish the name of the winners and it is indeed legit. That being said, this isn't a One Country issue other than the fact that they hired the sweepstakes platform that their promotions are run on. I'm entering two non One Country promotions that this happened to as well. I'm extremely selective as to what I enter, so I suspect there are probably a dozen or more of sponsors that are suffering because the company they hired is having problems.

Sweeps definitely a platform issue.I enter about 5-6 non one country contests, they all have entries wiped out. I have had this happen to me on the occasional contest with them but not all of them.
Trwus where did you send the email? Maybe if more of us complained there would be a response.

Found this ViralSweeps Update from Facebook page. They are having an outage. The message is really directed at their customers who have sweeps running but who knows how many of them know about it. I hope they do extend their sweeps if needed. This is affecting many of the sweeps I enter including Walton, FarmStar, Steamy Kitchen, Nature Lab, Cricut Maker (Jennifer maker) , Adfully, Flourish, OnlineCPRCertification, and probably several more. All my entries are gone.

Critical Outage - Update 1
We are still experiencing a critical outage on the main network at our hosting provider which handles some of the ViralSweep servers. We do not have an ETA on restoration yet.
We've managed to add a few stop gaps in the meantime. While no data will show up for entries if you are affected, we are currently capturing that data separately and will add it back into your promotions once the service is restored.
Again, if you are running a Purchases promotion on Shopify, BigCommerce, or WooCommerce, your data is going to automatically get pulled back in (with all recent orders) when the issue is resolved.

1) Pause any advertising campaigns you currently have running until this issue is resolved.
2) **Potentially pause your promotion by changing the start date and end date to a date in the future. As soon as this issue is resolved, you can re-open the promotion entry form by adjusting the dates again.
3) Do not launch any new promotions until this issue is resolved.
**If you currently have a Purchase promotion running with Shopify, Bigcommerce, or WooCommerce, your data will automatically get pulled in once the service is restored.

recurring payments? sounds like a scam-true sweeps do not require a payment to increase the odds-any agency out there to see if its even legit? one (free)and done type of sweeps..

FYI- If you Win the $1,000,000.00, the tax is about 36 %, That's $360,000.00 you must pay up front, So you get $ 640,000.00, If you read the rules, they can pay the $ 640,000.00 over 360 Months or 30 years, That would be 1,777.77 a Month for 30 Years, you must get a loan for the taxes and then only get back $ 1,777.77 a Month, Looks like a SCAM to me, Chick it out.

cdavidlyles, I don't believe that is how it would work.
I believe income taxes are owed based on the year that the income is received. If they're not paying you in a lump sum, then I don't believe that you incur that large tax bill either.
