Comments:

I keep getting "Invalid Code" despite the fact that I have checked the code twice each of the two times I have tried to apply.

FL, MI, and TX have a bunch of ineligible zip codes (hence the * next to those states in the eligibility section of the rules) - check Exhibit A at the bottom of the rules where the zip codes are listed by state.

I think this is odd entry. The rules state different entry periods for the first place prizes.

Sandin difd you enter it manually? I did and it worked for me.

Yes, surelyshields, there are different entry periods, but the rules state: "Non-winning entries will carry forward into the subsequent Entry Period." And, further, "Limit: Regardless of the method of entry, there is a limit of one (1) entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period." So, I think the administrator is making a distinction between Entry Period (any one in which you many make your one an only entry that will carry forward) and Sweepstakes Period (July 26 through February 29) in which you may make your one only only entry. Just my interpretation.

I tried two different codes, as sandin123 did. Got the same message - Invalid Code. And yes, windycitylaura I entered manually.

Hey, Sweeps, you're still around!
I wondered if you'd been admonished or banned, lol.

Posted by: JBRITTAIN2 on July 28, 2024

As far as I can tell Houston is excluded, among other excluded TX zip codes

Thanks for the info, newz.

Hmmm, that IS different!
Usually it's the other way around, and I can't enter b/c I live in the sticks, haha.

JBRITTAIN2, admonishing or banning the life of the party is crazy talk :)

I was at the beach for a couple of weeks. I still took some time to do my daily entries, but otherwise limited my internet time.

Still haven't got around to reading the rules on this one. Just way too much going on.
